Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is game of the year at the Golden Joystick Awards: all the winners

On December 11th we will meet the winners of The Game Awards 2025, the prestigious gala presented by Geoff Keighley, but it is not the only event that rewards the best games of each year.

What’s more, today they celebrated the Golden Joystick Awards 2025new edition of the London event, whose general nominations we already knew at the beginning of October.

A total of 12 games competed for the Best Game of the Year award (the final list was revealed on November 3rd), and we already have a clear winner.

It is none other than Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the RPG from Sandfall Interactive, which achieved a total of 7 prizes (1 for your study)among them the Last game of the year.

Clair Obscur is the GOTY at the Golden Joystick Awards, beating tough rivals like Hollow Knight: Silksong, Ghost of Yotei or Blue Prince.

These are all the winners of the Golden Joystick Awards 2025, which could serve as an indicator of what the Game Awards will be like in a few days.

RPG Sandfall reaped 6 prizes (7 if we count the Best Studio of the Year award), Silksong wins 2 awardsthe same as GTA 6 and Ghost of Yotei, while Blue Prince and the Lies of P DLC won 1 award each.
