Update 1.1.0 is now available. for Pikmin 4 with the new Pikmin disguised as Pikmin Bloom, two difficulty modes, the camera and other new features.
If you own a Nintendo Switch and are looking for a new exclusive game to play, Pikmin 4 is a great candidate. It’s not as well-known as Mario, Zelda or Pokémon, but it will provide you with many hours of fun with its expeditions, management touches and the always friendly Pikmin.
Furthermore, the game has now been updated with some new features that are worth highlighting. Even those who have had it should return to the garden.
Pikmin 4 receives the fix 1.1.0. on Nintendo Switch. It’s about a free update which incorporates a new type of Pikmin from Pikmin Bloom, the game for iOS and Android, as well as the camera, more difficulty modes and other new features.
To begin with, the game hosts a total of 24 costumed Pikminof which 14 Were Exclusive to Pikmin Bloom. Until 8 of them make up a new category called Pikmin 4 Toys that you can’t miss.
The costumed Pikmin are characterized by carrying objects and accessories, from a donut to a toy ladybug, not to mention the new iced Pikmin with extra flavor and snow. Oh and In Pikmin Bloom you can now enjoy Pikmin ice cream for the first time.
Other new features in the update are the gentle and fierce waysthat transform the experience into a walk or a great challenge, in addition to the photo camera to take the best photos.
Patch Notes 1.1.0. from Pikmin 4
You can now download patch 1.1.0. for Pikmin 4, whether on Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 (the game works via backwards compatibility), and thus enjoy tons of new features completely free. What if a native Switch 2 version is next?
Gameplay News
- You can now choose between three different activity levels for creatures: gentle, normal, and ferocious. This can be changed at any time in Settings under Options (- button).
- Now you can take photos with the “Field Camera” item and decorate them with stamps and frames. The field camera is added to your backpack on the morning of day 2.
- If you resume your save data before updating the software, it will be added to your backpack when you return to the rescue command post and morning arrives.
- Disguised Pikmin will now appear in the story.
- To have a disguised Pikmin join your squad, after rescuing Ranger Dingo from the Rescue Corps, use the field camera to take photos of a disguised Pikmin.
- By sharing the data of the disguised Pikmin that joined your squad in the full version of Pikmin 4 with the Pikmin Bloom smart device app, you will also be able to obtain seedlings of those same Pikmin disguised in Pikmin Bloom.
- You can submit the Nintendo Account ID and details of the discovered Undercover Pikmin when you finish scanning on the day the Undercover Pikmin were discovered. The Nintendo Account must be the same as the user who plays Pikmin 4 and the user who plays Pikmin Bloom.
- Now you can use “Roll Over”, with which you start another game taking with you some of the data saved in a file that completed the story.
- With the saved data completed in the history, select an empty rescue database on the file selection screen.
- If you’ve already reached the morning of the second day of the story, you can skip the introduction by playing from the beginning again. You start on day 2 of exploration, in which you head to the Sun-Splashed Terrace after creating an ID card.
Control News
- The following control settings have been added to the “Settings” section of the “Options” menu (- button).
- You can enable or disable automatic target locking for the cursor.
- You can select the player’s cursor or avatar as the central point of the whistle.
- When you start with the activity level set to “Pacific”, this option is set to “Player Avatar”, but you can change it at any time.
- You can now select “Normal” or “Accurate” for the speed of the arrow that appears when you hold down X to aim. Setting it to “Precise” will make it easier to adjust the direction of Pikmin’s charge and Oatchi’s run.
Bugs fixed
- Other issues have been fixed to improve the gaming experience.
Furthermore, Nintendo indicates that Pikmin 4 free demo has been updated with these new featurestherefore the test version now reflects these changes. Of course, the demo cannot be linked to the Pikmin Bloom mobile game.
