Elizabeth Olsen returns to fantasy this Friday with a film that mixes two sometimes incompatible genres

Yes Elizabeth Olsen I wasn’t fed up with the death of Vision when it became Scarlet Witchwith his new film he will be surprised, as his next character will have to face love and death in Eternitya film that mixes fantasy with comedy, drama and romance.

David Freyne returns to the big screen with a particular bet. After turning a lesbian and a gay man into a couple to keep up appearances Amber dating (2020), now takes us to heaven in a production that has the support of A24.

Elizabeth Olsen plays the character Joan, a woman who has died and has only one week to choose where she will spend the rest of eternity in the afterlife.

The new film David Freyne presents two options for you to choose from. On the one hand, he has Larry Cutler, the man he spent his life with, with whom he plays Miles box. On the other hand, for Luke, his first love embodied by Callum Turnerwho died young due to war and has been waiting for this for years.

Critics recommend Eternity

After its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and its debut in American cinemas in the middle of the month, the film heads to Spanish billboards, where it will arrive next Friday, December 5th.

But we won’t go without knowing what we’re facing, because Eternity has already managed to receive its first evaluations, meaning that it currently has a non-negligible average score of 84% in Rotten tomatoes.

Although its plot has received mixed opinions, what this film makes clear is that Elizabeth Olsen has good comedic skills, even though she did not hone them in her acting career.
