At GAME you can now pre-order the physical edition of FFVII Remake Intergrade for Switch 2, which includes Final Fantasy Magic cards and other extra content. Of course, the bad thing is that It’s a key card.
The truth is that it’s understandable, since Square Enix’s JRPG It takes up around 100 GB in its hybrid console version. But what we didn’t know is that it will be even bigger than expected…

Now you can prepare your Nintendo Switch 2, as you will practically need a microSD card to be able to install the game, regardless of whether you buy it physically or digitally.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be bigger than announced on Switch 2
In the absence of updated information on the Nintendo eShop, Square Enix confirms on its social networks that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade takes up more space than advertised on Switch 2.
Specifically, we now know that the standard edition reaches 95 GB in size, 5GB more than they originally said.
Regarding the limited launch edition and the Deluxe Edition, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will take up 99 GB in its version for the hybrid console.
It’s around 100 GB, a considerable size for a console with 256 GB of storage. Occupy almost a third of the Switch 2’s total free space.
