toy story 5the new film from Pixar and Disney looks to be one of next summer’s big releases. There is still “a way to go” for its debut, but It’s already heating up with great news.
We know that Jessie will be the main protagonist of this edition, in addition to knowing the new look that classic heroes will haveBuzz Lightyear and Woody. And that’s not all.
A film in the saga requires a villain of your level; in this case, a villain, embodied in something as current as a tablet. In fact, the emergence of this technology is the key to the film’s first trailer.
toy story 5 releases its first teaser
Without prior notice, Pixar has released the first trailer for toy story 5; a video of less than a minute that makes it clear what the plot will be, with just a few lines.
In the trailer we see Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Mr. Potato, Mrs. Potato, Rex and the Martians with terrified faces: a mysterious package arrived home.
The shipment is for Bonnie, the little one in the house. A new toy? A doll? Nothing like that: it’s the brand new LilyPad tablet, which the girl is pleased to receive.
“I’m Lilypad, let’s play!”says the device’s singsong voice. In the original version it belongs to actress Greta Leerecently in theaters with Tron: Ares.
And as the argument explains: “Lilypad will make the lives of Buzz and Woody’s gang increasingly complicatedhaving to compete with a new form of entertainment.”
Along with Lee, toy story 5 brings back the main voices of the saga: Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack and Blake Clarkbetween others.
Andrew Stantonresponsible for Wall-E, Finding Nemo and other Pixar hits, is in control of this fifth and long-awaited edition.
In the words of Pete Docter, screenwriter of the saga, This edition seeks to take the viewer by surprise.: “We have to keep people surprised, so it will be a lot of fun.”
It will also be the catalyst that takes Pixar out of its bad phase.which had one of its lowest moments in the commercial failure of Elio.
