In turn, the plot of the new film takes place one year after the events of the previous episode, where former security guard Mike and police officer Vanessa decided to hide from Abby the whole truth about the fate of their former animatronic friends after the events at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza.
Despite this, the girl continues trying to establish contact with Freddy and the rest of the animatronic animals. One night she receives a message asking for her help to go look for them, so Abby comes to her rescue and with her will trigger a series of terrifying events that will bring to light the darkest secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s.
