We explain the steps you must follow to get Diancie and Mega Diancie in Pokémon ZA Legends, with guaranteed results.
With the new update on November 6th, Pokémon ZA Legends has been unlocked one of the most anticipated missions by Kalos fans.
We are talking, obviously, about the possibility of obtaining Mythical Pokémon Diancie and its counterpart Diancitathe item needed to activate your mega evolution.
Attention: this mission requires some previous steps; but after them, you can capture the stunning Diancie (and make her mega evolve). Find out how below.
Prerequisites
Before going in search of Diancie, make sure you comply with the following:
- Completed the main story of Pokémon ZA Legends.
- Have the Mega Dimension DLC installed.
- Internet connection and your game linked to a Nintendo Account.
- Fortunately, you don’t need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
- You can only claim the event once per save file.
There is no time limit for this eventso you can activate it even if you buy the DLC later.
Claim the special mission
- From the game’s main menu, select Connection and then Mystery Gift.
- Choose the option “Receive via Internet”.
- A message titled “Bright as a jewel” will appear.
Claim the gift and you will receive two things: the Diancita item and access to the mission EXTRA-01: Shiny like a jewel.
Follow Peluchín
After obtaining the Diancita, head to the Inspector’s Office, where Matière will welcome you with his faithful companion Peluchín.
Apparently, Peluchín reacts in an unusual way when approaching his stone: captures a strong psychic energy emanating from him.
This activates the EXTRA-01 side mission, and Matière will ask you to follow Peluchín to investigate the origin of this mysterious energy.
Peluchín will guide you through the alleys, until you stop in front of an old elevatorcovered in sparkling crystals.
Upon entering, you will notice that the place is saturated with mega energy crystals, and the atmosphere becomes strange… Between the flashes, Diancie appears, protected by small Carbinks.
Capture Diancie
Prepare well: Diancie is a Rock/Fairy type and appears at level 70so this is clearly a post-game challenge.
Advice: Catch Steel or Water-type Pokémon to balance the fight. The confrontation is unique and Diancie cannot come out brilliant.
If you accidentally defeat her, you can repeat the encounter by starting the mission again. When you manage to catch it, the challenge will be completed automatically.
The final reward
Matière will examine his new Pokémon and mention that its glow resembles the Sundial of Anistar, an ancient device linked to mega evolutions. He will also talk about AZ and Professor Ciprés. At the end of the scene, you will receive your rewards:
- 1,000 PokéDollars
- XL Sweet Experience x3
- Your new Diancie with Diancita ready to use
With Diancie on your team, Open the combat menu and activate mega evolution. During the animation, the lower rock shatters to reveal a shining diamond.
This considerably increases your speed and special attack.making him a literal and strategic gem for your team.
