So the plot of the film addresses the story of Rumi Mira and Zoey three K-pop superstars who, using their secret powers, are dedicated to protecting their fans from dangerous supernatural threats. The latest threat they face is a young rival boy band called the Saja Boys, made up of five devils in disguise with ulterior motives.
The film was an absolute hit both on Netflix and in theaters during its brief theatrical run. However, this phenomenon may be left behind with the arrival of yet another animated film about K-pop from its country of origin.

As collected Collider, South Korea begins development of rainmakersa new animated film inspired by the K-pop musical genre that will take place Lee Seok Hoondirector behind titles like Himalayas, The pirates, Dancing Queen any Totally Spies!: The Movie.
Its plot will tell the story of An orphan and a princess join forces to defeat a “corporate threat” that looms over their world..
The film will have the aesthetics and energy of K-pop, and will feature original songs from a yet-to-be-confirmed producer of the genre, so it aspires to compete with k-pop warriors.
rainmakers will be animated by RedRover, a South Korean animation studio that previously worked on Operation Peanut and its sequence.
