Recently Variety reported that Disney+ has narrowed the release window for the revival of Malcolm in the middleand it looks like it won’t be long before we see the return of Frankie Muniz and company.
Thus, it is expected that Malcolm in the Middle: Life is Still Unfair arrives in the Disney+ catalog in spring 2026that is, between the end of March and June, so we will only have to wait a few more months.
Originally conceived as a film, this four-episode miniseries follows a self-contained story in which Malcolm is forced to return to his family surroundings to celebrate the 40th birthday of his parents, Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek). But he won’t do it alone, as he will be in the company of his wife and daughter.
The series will also bring back Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfieldwho will reprise their respective roles as Francis and Reesee, Malcolm’s older brothers.
