
A perfect week is ahead for you if you are a lover of crime series, as Movistar Plus+ will bring us in the next few days the new seasons of two of its star series of the genre: Blue Lights and Elsbeth.
In a curious coincidence, both will return to the streaming platform with their third seasons, although they will not do so at the same time. First to arrive Movistar Plus+ will be Blue Lightsan Irish thriller created by Declan Gramado and Adam Paterson who began his adventures on television in 2023.
The series follows the story of three newcomers to the police force at the Belfast police station, where they serve their probationary period:
The agent Grace Ellisa former social worker played by Sian Brooke; the agent Annie Conlona rebellious and Catholic girl played by Katherine Devlin; and the agent Thomas Fostera shy young man who cannot command respect, to whom he gives his life Nathan Braniff.
Elsbeth Tascioni returns to action
A few days later Blue Lights will land on Movistar Plus + Elsbethan American comedy created by michelle king and Roberto Reiwhich was born in 2024 as a spin-off of the judicial drama The good wife.
As the name suggests, the production now focuses on one of its secondary characters: Elsbeth Tascioniwhich is once again played by the actress Carrie Preston. Elsbeth is an eccentric lawyer and unconventional, but very intelligent. After his successful career in Chicago, he begins to collaborate with the New York Police Department to catch criminals.
The third season of Blue Lights will debut on Movistar Plus + next Friday, November 27thwith six new one-hour episodes. On the other hand, 3rd season of Elsbeth he returns Sunday, November 30th with eight chapters of around 45 minutes.
