THE new updates from Nintendo They arrive twice, on both Switch and Switch 2. With the firmware change for the version 20.0.1 We came across one less than 21.0.0 recently.
In the first we saw an improvement in compatibility (of several games), but also the end of many third-party docks. Now we have Two bugs fixed and one of them related to Bluetooth.
Although update 21.0.0 was the most important since launch, this one – on the other hand – is more modest and smaller.

The successor to the most popular hybrid console comes with more power, a 120Hz OLED screen and full backwards compatibility.
But even if it’s not a switch firmware change oversized, you know what they say about perfumes… It seems to fix some major issues.
Among them, one that caused certain error codes to be repeated when the user tried to transfer data between Switch and Switch 2.
There are also a few more fixes that iron out some connectivity bugs and several little things that most of them won’t have included. First, the new version of Switch 2:
Switch 2 – Update to version 21.0.1 (November 24, 2025)
- Fixed an issue where error codes 2011-0301 or 2168-0002 would occur repeatedly on a Nintendo Switch when attempting to transfer over local communication from a Nintendo Switch console for a Nintendo Switch 2.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes, after waking the console from sleep mode or turning off airplane mode, wireless controllers or Bluetooth audio devices would fail to connect.
- General system stability improvements to improve user experience.
Furthermore, both platforms included certain System improvements for user stability.
As always, these are fixes to stabilize hardware usage and so that each newly implemented version does not cause problems.
You’ve already seen the new firmware version on Switch 2, now it’s time to see the patch notes on Switch 1 and check out what changes on the console.
