Just one year after its release on Xbox Series X/S and PC, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl moves the Exclusion Zone to another platform: PS5, with the official debut of this new version.
Sony console users will be able to enjoy an edition that, although not yet perfect, benefits from all the updates and patches it has received since 2024.
It arrives on PS5 on November 20th, but be careful: it’s best to make room on the console, as the game GSC Game World comes hungry for shows.

STALKER 2: Shadow of Chornobyl occupies 153 gigabytes on PS5
As published by the PlayStation Game Size account, the radioactive simulator will require 153,348 gigabytes of console disk space.
In this way, STALKER 2 climbs to the podium of the most “heavy” games on the PS5, above titles like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (about 148 gigabytes), NBA 2K23 (142 GB) or Destiny 2 (139 GB).
It is only surpassed by titles like Spider-Man: Miles Morales – Ultimate Edition and its 170.5 GB; although When it comes to accumulating space, there is an unrivaled saga.
Obviously, we are referring to Call of Duty, which had “the healthy habit” of requiring up to 265 gigabytes of space. The reason? You can download everything, from the campaign to multiplayer mode or Zombies.
A practice that, fortunately, is obsolete. On the one hand, the Activision saga has reduced the size of its downloads; while other games offer more alternatives.
