A new PlayStation State of Play will be held tomorrow, but with a different focus: it will focus on Japanese and Asian games that will arrive on PS5 in the future.
The truth is that we didn’t expect a new Game statusas the last one took place on September 24th with news about Marvel Wolverine, Saros and other future games for PS5. Furthermore, contrary to recent events sonythis was not leaked ahead of time.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, 2025is celebrated a new situation which, yes, differs from the previous ones due to its approach. This is neither a third-party event nor a PlayStation Showcase, but rather a broadcast focused on Japanese gamers.
State of Play Japan was announced as ”a special episode of State of Play focusing on games made in Japan and across Asia, along with other exciting news”.
In other words, we won’t see news from Marvel Wolverine (Insomniac Games), Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet (Naughty Dog) or Saros (Housemarque), but rather from other oriental titles that will arrive on PS5 from 2026.
There we can include both Japanese games, from Code Vein II to Nioh 3, even promising titles sponsored by PlayStation China Hero Project such as Loulan: The Cursed Sand or Daba: Land of Water Scar, among other games coming to PS5 in China.
The new State of Play can be followed live in Japan and Asia, but also in the USA, the United Kingdom and other European countries, such as Spain. Now we tell you what time you can see it, where and what we can expect.
How to watch State of Play Japan on November 11th live

Sony has announced the return of State of Play, but this time it’s a special episode aimed at Japanese and Asian gamers. The presentation will focus exclusively on Eastern-style titles, so there will be no presence of Western games (or at least that’s what it seems).
State of Play Japan will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th, from 11pm. Spanish peninsula time (23:00 CET). Other times are: 2pm (PT) and 5pm (ET).
Its duration will be more than 40 minutes (an intermediate format) and the voice actor Yuki Kaji will be the presenter of the event.
Where can we watch live? Sony indicates that the official PlayStation channels on YouTube and Twitch will broadcast the event in Japanese with English subtitlesalthough it can also be viewed exclusively in Japanese on the PlayStation Japan YouTube channel.
”From beloved series to exclusive independent creations, the show, hosted by voice actor Yuki Kaji, will be full of great games, interviews and new looks at highly anticipated titles.”, they confirm on the PlayStation Blog.
It’s quite possible that PlayStation China Hero Project games will have a lot of weight in the stream, as well as new projects from Japanese studios, as Ninja Team and Bandai Namco to Square Enix, Konami, Sega or even DeSoftware.
Will any news be revealed about Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3? It is a possibility, but we believe that the event will not include such important announcements at a global level, as it would then make more sense to leave it to a conventional State.
Don’t miss the new Situation of Japan in the morning, Tuesday, November 11thwhich can be followed live from 23:00 Spanish time on YouTube and Twitch, as well as on social media and of course also on HobbyConsolas.
