Review of chapter 24 of Dragon Ball GT in which Baby took possession of Trunks’ body

We return, like every Sunday, with a new review of Dragon Ball GT. We are analyzing the series of Toei Animation and we’re finding great quality episodes every week.

In fact, today’s delivery is no exception and once again we are faced with a very high level of production. Just take a look at the drawings in the galleries below to see for yourself.

And the plot is not far behind! Episode 24 Dragon Ball GT presents us with a shocking story, with Baby as the great driving force of the chapter, providing certain doses of terror and action that remind us of the saga Foreigner.

If you are still thinking about watching this series and haven’t given it a chance due to the destructive comments you see on social media, our recommendation is that you give it a chance. You’re already late!

Episode 24 begins with a moment of uncertainty after the hospital explosion on the planet pital. Apparently, everything happened in the room where the child they rescued was hospitalized. Goku, Bread and Trunks. But luckily Goku manages to save everyone present!

In any case, as revealed to us in the previous chapter, this child is actually possessed by the Baby parasite, which never stops increasing its energy by devouring the bodies of others. And of course, seeing the power that Saiyans harbor, their goal is clear… to take control of their energy! And the first to fall into their clutches is… Trunks!

After possessing one of the hospital bosses, Baby tricks Trunks into taking him into the facility. Once there, he begins to strangle him, until Goku and Pan come to his aid, while the Z Warriors They could already smell the toast from the explosion downtown.

Of course, they instantly see that Baby has much more strength than before, and after a first affront, the parasite manages to injure Trunks and takes advantage of one of his cuts to enter him. After a few minutes of possession, the young man managed to react by becoming Super Saiyan and Baby is forced to leave his terrified body.

Although Goku and the others manage to locate him in the room where they fought, Baby gives them a furious glare to blind the Saiyans and manage to escape (yes, this reminded us a lot of the Taiyo Ken who used cell facing Piccolo in Ginger City).

Now out of reach of the Saiyans, Baby takes advantage of a ship’s exit to enter the body of a passenger and wreak havoc on the crew, killing every being on the ship. What will happen to the universe now that Baby is freed?

CURIOSITIES!

1- In one of the episode’s quiet moments, we see Goku and Trunks trying to fish in a nearby lake. As expected, Goku gets a good mountain of fish, but Trunks can barely fish, which is what he has to do with having lived on the mountain and in the city respectively.

But do you know who comes out worse from this day of fishing? Yes, as you can see in the image below, the poor Giru! The robot was about to be swallowed by a huge lake fish.

2- Do you remember the moment Taiyo Ken What did we mention above? Well, there is one character who could see Baby escape from combat…

Yes, we are talking about Giru once again! In case you didn’t know, the robot is capable of implanting a protective film on its display to protect it from reflections like those of a baby.

How did you feel about this great episode of Dragon Ball GT in which Baby wreaked havoc on the planet Pital? What will be the next objective of this mutant neomachine?

The entire cake will be revealed very soon, but we’ll still have to wait a few chapters to see it! Don’t let them tell you! ยกKai, Kai!

Assessment

Observation 90

Another remarkable episode of Dragon Ball GT in which we are delighted with several references to horror and science fiction sagas such as Alien. Baby’s character is a scandal, as is the animation and design of the episode, it’s a shame that some frames are recycled in the episode’s central battle.

The best

The horror scenes starring Baby. The animation and drawing are outrageous. References to great science fiction sagas.

Worse

Some frames are recycled in the episode’s central battle. The pattern of Goku and the others pretending they don’t know what is happening repeats itself, as in Giru’s plot.
