However, little by little the cast that will be part of this ambitious cinematic project was confirmed. The latest announcement was the film’s official composera renowned artist who has been behind the soundtracks for many iconic titles.

As collected Screen speech, the soundtrack of Star Wars: Starfighter will be composed by Thomas Newmanfamous composer who created soundtracks for films such as Road to perdition, The green mile, Life sentence, American Beauty, Finding Nemo any 1917among many others.
Shawn Levy himself confirmed the signing and admits to being “very excited” to have a composer of this caliber for his film.
“You don’t understand. If you ask me what my favorite soundtracks are, five of the 10 are by Tom Newman: Life Sentence, Road to Perdition, Nemo, American Beauty. He is a teacher.
I was thinking about this movie and what I wanted the music to be, because I wanted to have a classical inspiration. But no, they won’t be remixes of Williams songs. It may be inspired by some of this, but I knew I needed a generous soundtrack from a composer who, like John Williams, doesn’t shy away from themes.
So I called Tom Newman. You don’t understand, I’m a fan. And I said, ‘Hi, I’m Shawn Levy. Would you consider it…? And he said, ‘Send me the script and describe your vision.’ I did both and the answer was yes. I am really happy. I’m very excited about this“, shared the filmmaker.
