Police respond to a “call for help” in Arc Raiders
An Arc Raiders user shared their surreal story on Reddit: the police went to his motel room because of something that happened in the game.
YoMopho was enjoying a game, after connecting his PS5 to the local television. Within 15 minutes, agents were knocking on his door.
“I got up and looked through the peephole, but it didn’t look like shit (because it was a shitty motel). So I asked if they had a warrant and They told me they were checking to make sure everything was ok.”he explains.
The player adds that the police went to the motel because someone called them, after hearing that “he had been shot.” But there is an explanation.
This is how YoMopho tells it: “ten minutes earlier, he had played a gamewith loot, Osprey and after taking down a Leaper with my companions”.
“As I was going too fast, they knocked me down, so I screamed “Please help, I was shot, someone catch me.”but it was very dangerous”.
For danger, one that must have felt the person in the next room hearing those screams. So much so that he decided to immediately call the police.
YoMopho explained all of this to agents: “They looked at me with disdain because of my age, my appearance and when they saw the real reason they were called”.
He adds that when he finally opened the door to the agents and told them what had happened, He wanted to take a photo with them: “I was working my ass off, but they looked at me like I was an idiot.”
