Vin Diesel breaks silence and confirms his reconciliation with Dwayne Johnson ahead of Fast & Furious X: Part 2

Some of Hollywood’s most notable actors in contemporary action cinema are Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson.

The two actors had some disputes during the filming of the eighth film in the Fast & Furious saga, but it seems that over time they managed to improve their relationship.

Vin Diesel made it clear that his confrontation with Johnson was left in the past. The actor published a message on his social media in which he praised both Johnson and former MMA fighter Mark Kerr, showing how “proud” he is of both of them for their recent successes.

In his post, Diesel recalled that Kerr was one of his first friends in Hollywood and highlighted his recent induction into the UFC Hall of Fame. He also celebrated Johnson’s workwhose role as Kerr in the film The crushing machine It was well received by critics.

Diesel assured that his collaboration with Johnson in The Fast and the Furious came about at the request of a fan and that the two formed one of the most dynamic couples in cinema.

“One of life’s greatest gifts isn’t something you can buy, it’s the relationships that are built along the way,” Diesel wrote alongside a photo with his Fast and Furious co-star.

Additionally, he praised Johnson’s performance as Luke Hobbs: “When he took on the role of Hobbs, he did so with total commitment and left an indelible mark on the Universal Character Hall of Fame.”

The original conflict between the actors came to a head during the filming of the eighth installment of The Fast and the Furious in 2016.

In 2023, Johnson confirmed that he would return as Hobbs in Fast X: Part 2 after resolving his differences with Diesel.
