
On October 27th, HBO Max debuted in its catalog This: Welcome to Derrya new series platform original that serves as a prequel to the cinematic remake of Andy Muschietti based on the best-selling novel by terror by Stephen King.

As collected deadlinewith only three episodes broadcast, This: Welcome to Derry made history as a streaming smash hit with one of the three best debut seasons in HBO Max history.
“The third episode of Welcome to Derry averaged 5 million viewers in the United States (various platforms) during its first three days, while the series premiere averaged 5.7 million.
In total, the first season of Welcome to Derry (what we have of that, at least) averages 9.2 million American viewers per episode and nearly 15 million international viewers per episode“, explains the media.
