Next year Disney+ debuts in its catalog wonder manthe new series belonging to the Marvel Cinematic Universe created by Don Carambascreenwriter of other UCM titles, such as Black Widow, Hawkeye any Iron Man 2.
Starring by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Ambulance. escape plan, sweet man), the series’ plot revolves around Simon Williams, a Hollywood actor and stuntman who decides to audition to play the main character in the reboot of wonder mana famous movie superhero.

But to his surprise, Simon will end up acquiring incredible superpowers and will decide to assume the identity of the fictional hero in real life..
“Hollywood actor Simon Williams delves into the world of superheroes as he gains his own powers and becomes the new superhero Wonder Man,” details the official synopsis of the series.

With its premiere scheduled for two months, we are slowly opening our mouths with new trailers and images from the series.
Now, Collider exclusively showed a new official image of wonder man showing in detail the return of a well-known MCU character: Trevor Slattery, the actor who pretended to be the Mandarin during the events of Iron Man 3 which is again incarnated by Ben Kingsley (Thursday Crime Club, William Tell, The killer’s game). Trevor was promised to be an important character in the MCU when he was believed to be the Mandarin, but it all turned out to be a hoax orchestrated by Aldrich Killian, who turns out to be the film’s true villain.
The character returned in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ringswhere he meets Xu Shang-Chi, Katy Chen and Xu Xialing, and ends up participating in the Battle of Ta Lo. The last thing we know about him is that he decides to stay in town for a while.
Now, Trevor is back on the Hollywood scene and it looks like he will help Simon Williams deal with his newfound powers.
In addition to Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley, they make up the cast of the series Demetrius Grosse (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, sound of hope), Lauren Glazier (Tales of the Living Dead, red sparrow), Byron Bowers (The lady of the lake), Zlatko Buric (superman), David Moskowitz (Somnio), Jon Abrahams (Terrifying 3) and Charlotte Ross (nashville), between others.
