A Russian drone attack on the Ukrainian capital caused at least six injuries early Saturday (11/29/2025), including a teenager, and significant material damage, authorities reported.
Journalists heard loud explosions around midnight in central Kiev, which the city’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko, attributed to Moscow.
The official wrote on the Telegram messaging platform: “Six people were injured in the capital after an enemy attack. Three, including a 13-year-old minor, were taken to the hospital.”
Klitschko and the head of Kiev’s military administration, Timur Tkachenko, said that at least two residential buildings, one of which was 25 floors, a house and several cars, were also damaged in three neighborhoods of the city.
Tkachenko added on Telegram: “Enemy drones are flying over the city, and the air defense is responding. There are multiple targets on the outskirts of the capital.”
He denounced it as “an attempt by the Russians to simply terrorize the civilian population.”
Earlier this week, powerful explosions rocked Kiev overnight as Russian drones and missiles fell on the capital, sparking fires in residential buildings.
City authorities reported that seven people died.
