Six men were killed and another wounded after a war-related attack between the CV (Comando Vermelho) and the TCP (Tercero Comando Poro) on Thursday night (13) in Guadalupe, north of Rio de Janeiro.
According to investigations, the group participated in a party held in a rented apartment above a recording studio on Rua Menezes Prome, in front of Parque Madureira and near a shopping mall.
According to the civil police, the victims were from the Palmerinha community, which is dominated by CVs, and were there to attend a celebration attributed to members of the faction. Eyewitnesses reported that TCP criminals stormed the property during the party and opened fire.
The order to attack, according to the first investigations, would have been issued by Colonel Bruno Silva Loureiro, who was appointed as one of the leaders of the rival group in Mukiso, and who was investigated for the murder of the young man Stere Barroso dos Santos, in August, in Senador Camara.
Military police said that teams from the 41st BPM (Iraja) Division were called in to verify reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived at the address, agents found five people dead and isolated the scene for forensic procedures. The body of the sixth man was later found.
A seventh man was injured and taken to Carlos Chagas Hospital in Marechal Hermes. The identity and condition of the injured person were not revealed.
The Metropolitan Homicide Police opened an investigation to clarify the dynamics of the crime and confirmed the identity of five of the dead: Matheus Gomez da Silva Andrade, Moises Custodio da Silva, Yuri de Andrade Reyes, Caio José Ballerini de Oliveira Lopez, and Kiki Roberto Lino dos Santos. The sixth remains unidentified.
The Civil Police reported that the investigation was completed at the scene and that teams were continuing to make efforts to locate those responsible for the attack and hold them accountable.
