A 3-year-old girl was killed by her foster father and stepmother in Guarulhos, Greater São Paulo. The two are the main suspects in the crime that occurred two months ago, but the mother did not discover the truth until Thursday (27/11). The baby, identified as Manuela, was buried and buried in the laundry room of the couple’s home.
For two months, the father and stepmother lived normally with the girl’s body inside their home. Throughout this period, they maintained their routine and lived a seemingly ordinary life alongside their three other children.
Understanding the issue:
- The mother discovered her daughter’s death after days of being unable to talk to her daughter and not trusting the excuses her ex-partner gave her.
- The father had been informed that the child would be under the responsibility of the Guardianship Council.
- However, after searching for the girl in various units and not finding her, the mother registered a report at the police department.
Without answers and unable to talk to her daughter, the woman decided to go in person to her ex-partner’s house. Upon confronting the stepmother, the two began fighting, and the father then ended up confessing to the murder.
The girl was murdered the day before her fourth birthday and her body was buried and buried in the laundry room of the residence where the couple ended up being held captive.
The São Paulo Civil Police are also investigating the murder and investigating whether the victim (the girl) may have been abused inside the home.
