Parana Civil Defense is still mapping damage in the city, in partnership with the Ponta Grossa City Council and the Fire Department. The ice stones, about 3 cm in diameter, damaged the roofs of homes and businesses and caused them to creep off. There were also records of floods.
There are still no official estimates of the number of homeless or homeless people in the city. There were reports of hail in the neighborhoods of Ovaranas, Cara Cara, Olarias, Oficinas, Boa Vista, 31 de Marco, Villa Princesa, Villa Marina, Jardim Carvalho, and others.
The Parana government sent a truck loaded with fabrics and sleeping supplies (sheet, pillow, blanket, pillowcase, etc.) to Ponta Grossa on Monday night.
The city municipality has allocated three points to distribute the items to those who need them: the fire department headquarters in the center, the fire department headquarters in the Ovaranas neighborhood and the Santa Monica gym. On Tuesday 25th of this month, the state government is supposed to send 2,600 tiles and 300 mattresses to the city.
