
The 66-year-old was arrested after he was found with R$850,000 in cash on board a bus on BR-153, near Hidrolândia (GO), last Friday (7/11), and was heading to the Federal District.
His mission will be to deliver the amount to the person upon his arrival in the capital of the Republic.
The arrest was made by the Military Police of Goiás (PMGO), which collected information from the intelligence service and prepared to intercept the bus that was arriving from São Paulo (SP).
He was nervous when he saw the authorities, who soon found nearly R$1 million in cash inside his backpack.

The man said he received the locked bag containing the money and ordered him to travel on the bus to deliver the amount to this person in DF. He will earn R$2,000 for the service.
When questioned by police, the suspect did not say who delivered the bag at SP and said he did not know who would receive the money at DF.
PMGO took the man to the Federal Police (PF), who arrested him on money laundering charges. However, the suspect was released after giving his statement. The case is being investigated by the National Front.
