A 21-year-old man was arrested red-handed after killing another man in front of a bar in the city of Alvaro de Carvalho, within the state of São Paulo. This case happened last Sunday (September 11) on Rua José Martins dos Santos.
Security camera footage shows the moment the suspect approached the victim, who was sleeping on a bench. The criminal watches the man before striking.

According to the Public Security Secretariat, the military police were called to respond to the incident, and upon arriving at the scene, they found the victim lying on the sidewalk, wrapped in a sheet, suffering from injuries caused by a sharp weapon.

The victim, who had not been identified as of publication of this report, was taken to Garça UPA, but did not survive his injuries.

- The suspect was found in the house where he lived and was arrested red handed. The knife used in the crime was recovered.
- An examination was requested from the Criminal Institute (IC) and the case was registered as murder at Marilia Police Station.
