A motorcyclist was burned to death after trying to steal a Porsche on Avenida Presidente Altino, in the Jaguar neighborhood, in the western region of São Paulo, on Sunday morning (9).
According to the police report, two armed men riding a motorcycle followed the Porsche down the street.
At 2970, a Mercedes that was coming behind the Porsche noticed the attempted robbery and collided with the rear of the motorcycle. According to police reports, they both crashed into a wall and caught fire.
The fire department said the man on the motorcycle died at the scene. His body was charred. The motorcycle driver managed to escape.
According to the Public Security Secretariat, a loaded firearm was seized at the scene.
The case was registered as attempted robbery, murder, self-defense, arson and vehicle/location seizure in the 91st DP (Ceagesp) area.
