A neighborhood in the city of La Plata was shocked by the tragedy that occurred in the last few hours. A 54-year-old woman died in Tolosa after falling from the roof of a warehouse located on 520th Street between 6 and 7 p.m. The justice system is investigating the circumstances of the event under the title “Investigation into the Causes of Death.”
According to the official report obtained by EL DIA, members of the Patrol Command went to the scene after a 911 call alerted about a woman falling from a great height. Upon arrival, officers interviewed the victim’s husband, who reported that they were performing repair work on the roof of the warehouse.
According to his testimony, he was painting and making repairs when his wife, Sandra Analia Alzueta, climbed a ladder to bring him water due to the intense heat. At that moment, when she stepped on a piece of transparent plastic fiber, it collapsed and the woman fell approximately 6 meters into the void.

Upon entering the warehouse, uniformed officers found the woman on the ground, in a supine position, and unconscious. Minutes later, a SAME ambulance arrived and confirmed that Alzota had died at the scene.
The scene of the accident was preserved for expert work and intervention was made by UFI No. 3 of La Plata, led by Public Prosecutor Gonzalo Petic Bosnic, who ordered corresponding actions to reconstruct the mechanics of the accident and determine possible responsibilities.
