A young man suffered burns to his face during a quarrel between neighbors

Ensenada was the scene of a violent incident Friday night, when a 13-year-old girl ended up in the hospital with serious burns to her face and neck. The accident occurred in the area of ​​36 and 123 in the Deek neighborhood.

According to police sources, at around 10 p.m., 911 was called to alert that a minor had been injured on public roads. Upon arrival, the monitoring center informed members of the Third Police Station that the victim had already been transported in a private vehicle to Gutierrez Hospital.

At the scene, the girl’s mother said that her daughter was attacked by another minor of the same age, a neighbor of the house. According to the story, the assailant was setting fire to garbage in the street, and in the middle of an argument, he began hitting her with a burning broom, causing her to suffer multiple burns.

The doctor on duty confirmed that the girl had injuries to her nose, face, lip and neck. After receiving the first treatments, he was referred to a more complex center for further evaluation and monitoring.
