The Chief of Staff, Manuel Adorni, denied on Friday that the labor reform amends the general labor law, in response to the head of the ATE, Rodolfo Aguiar, as expressed at a conference in Casa Rosada.
“Statements of a vocal union member who called for a strike without reading the labor updatewhich has not yet been submitted. “She will not consider introducing amendments to the general labor law, which draws more attention to the fact that she called for a strike when there is no amendment to the law,” Adorny said.
Adorni then noted that Aguiar stated that he was working to create a “crisis” for the government of President Javier Miley. “In fact, you will also remember him because he recently said that his job is to create a crisis for the government. Well, good luck with that,” Adorni attacked during the conference at the Government House where the Agencia Noticia Argentinas agency was accredited.
He added: “If there is a government that works to reverse the deplorable state of the official sector in Argentina, it is the government of President Javier Meli. Of course, making it clear that any statement about any measure that was not issued, that was not known, or that we did not communicate through official channels, is false in principle.”
He also took the labor and taxation debate coolly, focusing on unilateral taxation: “There is a lot of talk about certain issues, including the unilateral tax. I ask you, please, until there is an official communication about the content of the work update, I ask you not to say things that are not the case.”
