Senator Romario, affiliated with the PL, party of former president Jair Bolsonaro, presented Minister Flavio Dino (STF) with a T-shirt of Club América, a traditional team from Rio de Janeiro.
President Lula nominated Dino to the Supreme Court, and this Friday (11/14) came after Alexandre de Moraes voted to make Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL) indicted on charges of coercion during the course of the process.

“I received with great pleasure the America (RJ) jersey, given to me by Senator Romario, star of the 1994 World Cup (and many other titles). Beautiful memories of one of my hobbies: Brazilian football,” Dino wrote on his X account, previously Twitter.
This gesture comes after Romario was criticized among Bolsonaro’s supporters for not signing the request to open impeachment proceedings against Minister Moraes.
The former player announced at the time that they “made up false stories” against him, but “none of this will change because of the lies spread.”
“I have faced much stronger pressures in my life and I have never run away or stayed silent,” Romario wrote on his X account, on August 8, 2025.
