When he was arrested on Tuesday (11/11) by civil police officers from the Special Investigation Group of Homicide (GIH) of Novo Jama, in a joint operation with the 11th Internal Police Coordination (Coorpin) of Barreras, linked to the Civil Police of Bahia, the 25-year-old butcher confessed to the qualified murder of a 70-year-old man and revealed the place where the body was buried.

Pascual Oliveira Ramos (Picture below) He has been missing since April 16. After the operation, his body was found buried in the backyard of a house in Novo Gama (GO), on the outskirts of the Federal District.
According to Novo Gama GIH representative Taylor Brito, the suspect initially stated that the crime had no financial motive. Brito stressed that “his cell phone, which was confiscated, is considered an essential element in continuing the investigation.”
Based on the information provided by the suspect, teams from GIH and the Goiás Military Fire Department traveled to the indicated address. After an extensive excavation, Pascual’s body was found, ending months of suffering for family members who had been searching for his whereabouts since April.

The suspect was transferred to the local prison unit, where he remains at the disposal of justice. Police investigations are still ongoing to fully clarify the crime and hold those involved accountable.
Understanding the issue:
- At the time of his disappearance, police questioned a man identified as the last person to have been in contact with Pascol.
- He stated that he met the victim days before his disappearance, when Pascual called him to get rid of a conspiracy.
- After the service, the suspect asked about the sale price of the land, and Pascual allegedly asked for R$150,000.
- The two agreed to meet again to discuss negotiations, but Pascual was never seen again.

The family even offered a reward of R$10,000 for information leading to the man’s whereabouts.
