Cineclube Cortina hosts the Astronete: o Retorno do Fim 3 concert this Saturday (29). The event is reminiscent of the alternative rock-focused underground house that characterized Baixo Augusta’s cultural activity between 2007 and 2017.

At the concert at Cineclube Cortina, the setlist recalls rock and black music from the 1950s to the 2000s.
The nostalgic taste is enhanced by programming with DJs who were once residents of the house. The full lineup includes Sergio Barbu, Bispo, Celso Tavares, Daniel MS, Johnny Bird, Ultra Sixty and Claudio Medusa, the creator and former owner of the house.
Audiences can expect hits from Iggy Pop, Blondie, The Ramones, Devo and The Strokes. Other names playing during the night are Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, The White Stripes and The New York Dolls. In general, in addition to alternative rock, there is new wave, disco, indie, post-punk, hip-hop, pop and other music that refers to the dark.
The Hitchcocks also take to the stage. Directly from the eastern region of São Paulo, the band performs their original works live. Influences range from surf music to 1960s rock and 1950s science fiction cinema.
The party also shows films made between 1950 and 1970, in addition to exploitation films, an attractive genre whose slogan is illness and excitement.
The submission refers to the club’s original brand of streaming B-side films for free and to the proposal of Cineclube Cortina, which also offers audio and video sessions.
Another feature that returns in the release is the presence of a go-go dancer. The house welcomes Goo Goo Mucky, who plays a spectral dancer from the planet Claire.
