The 44-year-old man who was caught red-handed on Wednesday (12/11) after threatening to kill his ex-partner and not accepting the end of the relationship, hurled several insults at the victim. The crime occurred in Aguas Lindas (GO), surrounding the Federal District.

In another threatening moment, he said he was going to buy a gun. “I will get R$5,000, and instead of buying furniture, I will buy a 38 (pistol) to solve problems in my life.”
According to the delegate of the Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO), Tamiris Teixeira, head of the Police Station Specialized in Women’s Aid (Deam) in Aguas Leyendas, the victim registered a police report, where the perpetrator, after the separation, began to persecute her, sending audio recordings and messages, since 3 a.m. on Wednesday (11/12), with insults and death threats against her, her mother and her brother.

Delegate Tamiris Teixeira commented: “The author was arrested and, during his interrogation, he admitted that he had sent the audio recordings, claiming an inability to control his emotions due to problems with alcohol and not accepting the end.”
According to the President of the Association of Aguas Leyendas, the author, who already had experience with the police for the same crime committed against another woman, would assume responsibility for crimes of threat and injury committed in the context of domestic violence.
