The exhibition, with an area of more than 1,000 square meters, will occupy 15 rooms in the cultural center. In addition to the reproduction of the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, manuscripts, drawings and replicas of sculptures will be on display, including one of “David” and another life-size of “Pieta”, masterpieces by Michelangelo (1475-1564). The statue representing the Virgin Mary with Jesus in her arms, like the Sistine Chapel, will have a special immersive environment.
In projections of the main room, visitors will be able to observe details of the paintings on the ceiling that are impossible to see with the naked eye, including the iconic “The Creation of Adam” scene.
