While participating in Ronnie Vaughn’s Companhia Certa program, Anderson became emotional when speaking about his marriage to Paulinho.
“In my generation, we had no right to assume anything at all. We’ve been together for 21 years. It’s my safe haven, what keeps me alive and encourages me,” he said.
After the interview about his partner, the actor started receiving attacks and had to take to social media to refute the biased comments.
“It’s sad to see such mean reactions and such mean words about me,” he wrote, asking anyone who didn’t like him to simply unfollow him.
