Actor and presenter André Márquez, who previously worked in Malhação and led the program Vídeo Show, on TV Globo, spoke about his personal life and gave details of his single life in an interview with O Globo newspaper. The celebrity also revealed that he is a fan of sex shops and loves to spice up his relationship using erotic toys.

Away from television since 2021, when he presented The Voice + on TV Globo, Andre Marques returned to the air after receiving an invitation from Angélica to participate in the program Angélica ao Vivo, on GNT. At the attraction, he cooks for the guests and also participates in discussions. He recently spoke on the show about his flair for playing at the right time.
“When I went to Japan I came back with a suitcase full of toys. I’ve never hidden my life, I’ve never done anything like this. I love sex shops and I know people who love them, but I don’t have the courage to speak out for fear of judgement,” said the broadcaster, who today maintains his own YouTube channel with recipes and travelogues.
The celebrity said he likes to “spice things up” in relationships. “And I think people might not agree with that, but they have to respect that. If you find a woman who likes sex shops, she’ll get ten points with me. I love erotic toys, there’s a lot of fun stuff that leads to positive experiences most of the time.”

“I’m happy alone”
Despite this, Andre Marquez remains single and has no intention of marrying. He added: “Being single doesn’t mean you don’t have sex or kiss lips. I was married once, lived together for seven years, then cohabited for another three years. I’ve had great women, great girlfriends, but I’m fine with myself.”
He explained: “For me, to want to date someone, I have to be very restricted. I don’t want to date as a typical couple, it’s not my thing. I’m already disappointed and I’m already disappointed, it’s not about not wanting to suffer. It’s just that I’m older and more mature, I’m not psychologically or financially dependent on anyone and I want someone who’s independent too.”
Having children is also not in the artist’s plans. “It’s not in the plans, but the guy over there will say so. No kids, no marriage. And it can’t be too much bureaucracy, or it gets too complicated. I’m happy on my own. Obviously I hang out with interesting people, sometimes I’m partnered, sometimes I’m not, and it’s all good.”
