BBC News Brazil has arrived on WhatsApp! From now on, you can receive daily news, analyzes and audio recordings that we publish on your cell phone.

Every day, our teams in São Paulo and London will select some of our most interesting posts to help you understand what’s happening in Brazil and around the world.
The WhatsApp Channels service was launched in 2023 and allows app users to receive messages from people and organizations that interest them.
BBC UK launched in September 2023, and quickly surpassed one million followers.
Now it’s BBC News Brazil’s turn.
The Updates button is at the top of the screen if your phone is Android, and in the lower left corner of the screen if you’re using an iPhone.
This is where our messages will appear, outside of the regular chat tab.

To receive (or not) notification of our messages, press the bell. You can mute the channel or unfollow us at any time.
On our channel, you will be able to reply to every message with emojis. To forward our messages to your groups and friends, the process is the same as for any other message on WhatsApp.
Meta, which owns WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, claims that no one in the channel can find out your personal data, such as photo, name or cell phone number.
