This edition includes a major novelty: the participation of universities working on experimental developments with alternative controls. Alternative Control students in the Bachelor of Video Games and Bachelor of Video Games Production and Development will present projects that are played with physical interfaces specifically designed for each game, outside traditional hardware.
In addition to testing prototypes, the showcase serves as a practice stand assembly, project and sales presentation, as well as a space to receive and provide direct feedback. Between the lights, the instruments, the cables and the colleagues, El Destello is consolidating itself as a cultural incubator where emerging studios, independent developers and experimental projects seek to carve out a place on the scene.
