Between glory and reality: the independence that sustains Lineker

Lineker’s recent stardom, which has culminated with three Latin Grammys in 2025, could easily put her on a distant pedestal. But, on the contrary, it remains rooted in the reality that shaped artistic identity.

While Kaju has surpassed 160 million plays and garners attention from international critics, the singer prefers to highlight a simple and revealing truth: receiving the award does not change the structure of life.

She said in an interview with: “I am an independent artist. My mother continues to work in one of the neighborhood associations.” Piaoui Magazine. In just a few words, Lineker takes the speech from brilliance to sincerity, remembering that the path is inseparable from the people who walk it.

This awareness appears not only in speech, but also in practice. In Brasilia, Caju’s tour raised funds for Coletivo Força Trans, which supports transgender people in vulnerable situations.

Furthermore, the artist has incorporated accessibility practices into her performances, such as specialized reception for people with disabilities and performances with Libras in different cities across the country.

Lineker combines spirituality, affection and politics in his work, avoiding the separation of art from responsibility.

On stage, this situation expands. Upon winning a Latin Grammy, she declared: “Being a transvestite composer in Brazil is killing us is very difficult.” This gesture resonated as a statement, a ritual of recognition, and a reminder that existence itself is indeed a collective achievement.

The tour, which she defines as “Portraiting the New Moment in Life,” is built around four works — “Inner Sun,” “Alter Ego,” “Taste” and “Celebration” — that reflect layers of memory, healing, and spiritual energy.

This same force arrives in Brasilia at the end of the second edition of the Estilo Brasil Festival, on December 14, at the Ulysses Centro de Convenções.
