The building, which has been closed since the pandemic, once occupied Bradesco’s largest branch – until the 1990s, this branch alone had a turnover equivalent to the eighth-largest Brazilian bank at the time and had a thousand employees. Now, it will reopen, but smaller and fit for the new era.
The entire building will be modernized in its architectural lines and updated technologically. The project foresees mixed use. The upper 19 floors, with an area of 18 thousand square metres, will be used by the private areas of Bradesco, while the 5-storey building from the ground floor will be used for commercial purposes, with access to shops, restaurants, exhibitions and entertainment areas.
