Building the foundations for the future of entrepreneurship in Argentina
by Maria Giulia BerziCEO of Endeavor
80 years ago, when I was born clarion, Argentina was a country that dreamed of an industrial, prosperous, and modern future. Eight decades later, the drivers of growth are different, but the challenge remains the same: how to transform talent into sustainable development.
For over 25 years, we at Endeavor have been working to achieve this goal: Building the foundations so entrepreneurs can grow, multiply opportunities, and make an impact.
When we started, almost no one talked about the “entrepreneurship ecosystem.” The investment funds we know today did not exist, nor did accelerators, nor support programs. There were ideas, dreams and a very strong conviction that Argentine talent could compete in the world if it found the right environment.
Over time, this goal has crystallized into a strong network of people who believe in the power of entrepreneurship as a driver of social mobility and economic progress.
Help the endeavor Putting the conversation about innovation on the agenda, Entrepreneurial capital and scalability, topics that today form an essential part of the country’s productive development
Our mission was – and continues to be – to create structure, connections and community; Double the effect.
Giulia Berzi, Martin Migoya, Paolo Rocca, and Rosendo Grupocopatel at the conclusion of the Endeavor ExperienceBuilding bridges Between entrepreneurs, companies, mentors, investors and the public sector. Because if we want to become an innovative nation, someone must develop the network of invisible threads that underpin growth: trust, collaboration, and the potential to learn from those who have already walked the path.
During these years, we have seen the number of companies we have accompanied achieve achievements Exceeding boundaries.
Some have reached key international markets, others have been recognized for their ability to innovate, and many have become benchmarks for transformation in their industries. These stories confirm this if they come together With talent, vision and support, solutions are possible Who were born in Argentina and compete in the world.
Maria Giulia Berzi, CEO of Endeavor. These achievements are not isolated cases: they are evidence that when an environment supportive of growth is created, Argentine talent flourishes. In this sense, Argentina has been a historical pioneer.
We have an entrepreneurial DNA that Combines curiosity, creativity and flexibility. We are a country that has learned to innovate in difficult contexts, to rethink itself and find opportunities even in the midst of uncertainty.
Today we are going through a difficult period, but it is also full of possibilities. The technological revolution, artificial intelligence and digitalization are changing the rules of the game in all sectors.
While every revolution generates uncertainty – and requires time to adapt – it also opens doors to new ways of creating value.
We see an increasingly mature ecosystem, where companies are born with a global outlook and founders realize that scaling doesn’t just mean growth in scale; But double the effect.
At Endeavor, we call it “Double effect“When a successful entrepreneur returns to the ecosystem as an investor and mentor, he or she generates a virtuous circle that benefits the entire community.
Looking to the future, the challenges are clear. We need to continue generating potential. That talent born in Jujuy, Misiones or Chubut can have the same tools as that trained in Buenos Aires.
That’s why, as an organization, we work every day to democratize access to opportunity, make stories visible, inspire careers, and connect dots that would otherwise remain scattered.
This requires strengthening entrepreneurship education and encouraging policies that encourage innovation And unifying efforts between the public, private and social sectors.
Ideas are born from individual talents, but they become influential when the environment encourages them, funds them, and connects them to the world.
In a world where problems are becoming increasingly complex, the role of entrepreneurs is essential.
Not just to create successful companies, but to design solutions that improve people’s lives. The coming decades will be characterized by a deeper collaboration between technology, creativity and purpose. Here Argentina can and should play a leadership role.
Recent reports from the World Economic Forum and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean agree that Latin America is accelerating the adoption of AI and that Argentina stands out for its highly qualified human capital.
In other words, We have what the world needs: talent, adaptability, and a call for transformation.
The future is not built with technology alone, but with values: collaboration, compassion, and purpose.
Every entrepreneur who decides to stay, create jobs, and bet on his country, contributes to making Argentina stronger, fairer and more connected to the future.
Building an innovative nation is not a task for the few. It is a collective building that begins with believing in our talents, betting on education, strengthening cooperation and maintaining a long-term vision.
Because great transformations don’t happen overnight: they are created in a community with perseverance, trust, and purpose.
After 80 years Clarion With more than 25 Endeavor members in Argentina, we reaffirm our certainty: We Argentines will move Argentina forward.
And we will do it because we know how best: to think big, create impact, pledge it, and multiply it.
