Caio Jorge reached 21 goals in the Brazilian Championship on Sunday (23/11), scoring twice in Cruzeiro’s 3 x 0 win over Corinthians. Thus, this year’s Brazilian top scorer reached the goal-sharing mark (goal or assist) in 18 of the 19 teams competing in the tournament. The only team to have escaped unscathed so far is Santos.
However, Caio Jorge can still change that. Raposa and Peixe will face each other in the final round of the Brazilian League on December 7 in Vila Belmiro. In the first round, the Minas Gerais team lost to the Sao Paulo team with a score of 2 x 1.
