Singer Sylvania Aquino, 52, announced on Monday night (11/10) that she is no longer part of the band Calcinha Preta. The singer revealed her resignation days after an alleged disagreement with her group partner Ohara Ravik, according to an investigation by columnist Fabia Oliveira, from Capitals.
In a note posted on social media, Sylvania thanked her fans and stated that her departure from Calsenia Britta happened “by mutual agreement.”
The singer wrote: “Over these long years, I have built friendships, lived unforgettable moments, and learned that life teaches us in many ways, to act, think, and feel. There have been years of history, love, dedication, and music, which have given me unique experiences and a deep connection with my fans.”
Sylvania is one of the most famous singers of Kalsenia Britta. She joined the band for the first time in 2000, and continued until 2016, then returned in 2018 and has continued until now.

In recent weeks, the singer has not participated in the band’s shows in Itinga (MA) and Massaranduba (PB). In the post announcing her departure from Calsenia Britta, Sylvania says her story does not end now.

Fight with O’Hara
Column by Fabia Oliveira, in Capitalsexclusively discovered that there is a rift between Sylvania and O’Hara Ravik. According to people close to the band, the two bandmates were meeting backstage. After a bad fight, they stopped talking to each other and avoided taking pictures together.
Ohara Ravik is the youngest member of Calcinea Brita. She joined the band in March 2023, as a replacement for singer Paulinha Abelha, who died in February 2022 after being hospitalized due to kidney failure.
