A preview of the final presidential debate begins

Welcome to the live broadcast of the final Chilean presidential debate before the election on Sunday, November 16. From the editorial office of EL PAÍS Chile, we will tell you all the details of the forum organized by the National Television Association (Anatel), which starts at 9:00 pm. local time.
This meeting comes a few days before the conclusion of the election campaigns and the elections themselves, making it a unique opportunity for standard bearers to present their ideas and mobilize hesitant voters.
The appointment is confirmed by the eight presidential candidates: Franco Baresi, candidate of the People’s Party (PDG); The communist Janet Jara, representative of the Center-Left and Left Party of Unity for Chile; Marco Enriquez Ominami, independent leftist; the libertarian Johannes Kaiser, from the far right; Republican José Antonio Cast, from the far right; Eduardo Artes, independent radical leftist; Evelyn Matthey, representative of Vamos Chile, traditional right; and independent Harold Mayne Nichols.
