
At least 11 people were killed and two injured after being hit by a train in southern China’s Yunnan Province on Thursday (27/11). The victims, who were part of a group of construction workers, were working near Kunming Luoyang City Station.
According to the Chinese newspaper South China Morning Post, the workers were injured while crossing the tracks at a railway station. The train was carrying seismic equipment.

In a post on social media, the Kunming Railway Authority expressed its condolences to the families of the victims and said the causes of the accident were being investigated.
