Rio de Janeiro Governor Claudio Castro (PL) told his allies that he began to feel like a celebrity after the massive police operation that killed more than 100 people in the capital, Rio de Janeiro.
In private conversations, Castro reported that after the operation in the state, parliamentarians who had previously ignored him and people in general began asking to take photos and videos with the governor.

About 2,500 civil and military police officers are participating this Tuesday (28) in the “Containment Operation” in the Penha and Alemão complexes, northern district of Rio, with the aim of executing about 100 arrest warrants and 150 search and seizure warrants against members of the Comando Vermelho faction.

As for his ally, Castro joked that he feels like a former BBB, referring to the harassment participants of the Big Brother Brasil reality show experienced shortly after they left the program.

But Castro said he “kept his feet on the ground,” knowing that this euphoria was temporary. So much so that he has already abandoned the presidential plans proposed by his allies in recent days.
