A Los Hornos neighborhood is in suspense over another early morning attack/Webb
Last Saturday, while she was sleeping, a 63-year-old woman was surprised by three men who entered her home, located on 64th Street between 142 and 143, in Los Hornos.
The intruders acted with their faces covered and subdued the victim without using physical violence, despite being subjected to direct threats. The intrusion occurred in the middle of the morning, while the victim was resting.
According to the complaint, the attackers immediately demanded money and began searching various rooms of the house. They searched furniture, drawers and parts of the house in search of valuable items. The retired woman remained in shock and unable to respond to the intimidation.
During the robbery, the criminals stole a TV, two notebooks, two mobile phones, a set of house keys and cash. In addition, they seized the victim’s car, which they used to escape. The thieves remained inside the house for only a few minutes before fleeing.
Although the woman did not suffer physical injuries, she suffered from a strong state of fear and helplessness due to the threats she received. Her attackers ordered her not to move and avoid any attempt to call for help, and kept her under control throughout the entire sequence.
Following the complaint, police began searching for the stolen vehicle, which was finally found hours later in another jurisdiction. However, the exact time of his recovery has not been determined and no arrests related to the incident have been recorded.
Investigation sources indicated that the thieves acted quickly and in an organized manner, which coincides with the hypothesis of a planned robbery. Entering at night, shrinking the victim while he sleeps, and selecting items that are easy to transport are common characteristics of this type of crime.
Investigators are now working to determine the path of the stolen vehicle and determine whether it could have been captured on a security camera in the area.
So far, no available footage or witnesses who saw the criminals entering or fleeing have been reported.
The case has been classified as a robbery and is now in the hands of the competent public prosecutor’s office, which seeks to trace the entire sequence of the event through the data provided by the victim.
