The new version of the game comes with the “Void & Voltage” content update for all platforms
Pugstorm and Fireshine Games have announced that Core Keeper will launch on January 28, 2026 for Switch 2 and will be available as a free update to all current owners of the game on Switch.
Core Keeper – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features improved graphical fidelity and increased frame rates, targeting 60 fps, as well as visual improvements to lighting, shadows, water quality, and particle effects.
The game also includes native co-op support for up to 8 players, double the number in the original Switch version. Core Keeper players playing on the original Switch will also be able to participate in 8-player co-op sessions by connecting to a hosted single-player session on Switch 2.

Core Keeper is currently playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
