The mixed information coming from Zacatecas reveals the horror of the case with many questions still surrounding what happened on Tuesday in San Jeronimo, Guadalupe municipality, when police deployed an operation to arrest Diego. nthe alleged femicide of 15-year-old teenager Maria Guadalupe and her parents. The information revealed so far by Public Prosecutor Christian Paul Camacho Osnaya indicates that the man arrested the minor through social networks, went to live with her and her family, and after his attack, he left one person alive; A teenager they say is being protected by authorities.
According to information received from Prosecutor Diego na 29-year-old man from the state of Mexico, met Maria Guadalupe through social networks, and after a while went to live in her parents’ house in Zacatecas. Camacho Osnaya reported that the assailant “was the romantic partner of a 15-year-old woman,” and referred to this as a “sensitive matter.”
Last October, the Zacatecas authorities received a report that they had not located Maria Guadalupe, whom the Public Prosecutor confirmed had gone to search for her directly to the state of Mexico – about 550 kilometers away – where she had gone voluntarily with her attacker. “At that moment we went, and he was located and reintegrated into his family,” he said.
In an account of what could have happened on Tuesday, the date on which the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was observed, the prosecutor described that the authorities who arrived at the family’s home, in the community municipality of San Jeronimo, found a trail of blood outside the house that led them to the pasture, where they found the lifeless body of Maria Guadalupe. Inside the house, the man had already killed his parents.
The prosecution also confirmed that the assailant used a knife to commit the murders, which are already being investigated as the murder of two women and aggravated murder.
Additionally, it was confirmed that inside the home, another teenager, also a minor, survived the attack and was found without injuries. The Public Prosecutor’s Office confirms that the minor is already receiving attention from the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Human Rights, and that, in addition, she has a “support network.”
Some witnesses from the community claim that this is not the first time the alleged assailant has been involved in a violent event involving Maria Guadalupe’s family. Stories not confirmed by the Commission indicate that in the past, after the minor’s disappearance, a complaint was filed that was not paid attention by the authorities. They also claim that the alleged attacker had already assaulted another minor, a member of the same family.
