Cruzeiro and Ciara tied on Saturday evening (29), in the 36th round of the Brazilian Championship. Vinicius Zanusillo opened the scoring for Fuzão, and Willian Machado equalized for Rapoza at the Castelao Stadium.

With this result, Ciara still has a chance to go down. Cruzeiro narrowly lost his chance to win the title, with 69 points, ahead of leaders Flamengo, who have 75 points. It competes for second place against Palmeiras, which has 70 points.

The game

The match started busy, as both teams sought victory, but the first half was characterized by chances created and missed by both teams. The goals only came in the second half. Ceara opened the scoring with a Casio foul in the tenth minute.

In this move, Ceara started a counterattack on the left flank until Mugni arrived close to the penalty area, which was perfect for Vinicius Zanusello to shoot into the goal, trying to defend, goalkeeper Cassio ended up sending the ball into his own net, 1-0 Ceara.

A few minutes later, in the 25th minute, through a mistake by Ceara, Cruzeiro equalized with an own goal. Kiki sent it to the penalty area and in a dispute with the Raboa defender, Willian Machado sent it into his own net, ending the score at 1-1 at Castelao Stadium.
